Custom Studio Craft 'Sawtooth' Maple Wood Bed Frame

A stunning custom, one-of-one, studio craft 'sawtooth' spire bed frame, completely handcrafted by artisanal woodworkers. The design -- heavily inspired by iconic mid century architectural furniture of the 1960s -- is a unique, stylized interpretation, featuring a dramatic silhouette of 'spires' or 'saw teeth.'

It consists of a queen-sized headboard and footboard constructed from a gorgeous beautiful maple veneer, with rich, warm tones and prominent organic grain patterns. The veneer has been flat-cut to yield the beautiful, sweeping 'cathedral arches' and fluid loops running vertically down the panels, further mimicking the tapered, triangular spires. The footboard echoes the headboard's geometric language with two tall, towering corner spires that act as minimalist posts.

The entire wooden structure is built around a heavy-duty metal support system to hold a box spring and mattress. There is a maker's mark on the interior of the footboard: Nine Finger Furniture Company and signed by the woodworker who built it.

DIMENSIONS: 80.75 W (at widest point of headboard and footboard) x 70.25 H (at tallest point) x 86 L inches

CONDITION: In original vintage condition, with wear commensurate of age and use. One small area (appx. 1 inch) of chipped veneer at bottom right interior corner of footboard.
